Hi, I'm Einar.

This site showcases my projects, explorations and the behind the scenes of building software.

The projects are varied: mortgage calculators, wine value discovery, language learning tools, puzzle games, book recommendations, and more. Many are built for a global audince, and some for the Icelandic market.

This site is mostly about my endeavors outside of work. But my professional career has been mostly backend focused, often working on data-intensive applications, data pipelines, and internal tools. I still enjoy frontend work, although design and UX does not come as naturally to me as backend and data work.
